Description
MHL by Margaret Howell reworks the Dr Martens 1461, marking 65 years of the icon, in chrome-free grained oiled leather from Leeds tannery C.F. Stead. Offered in black and deep brown, finished to develop a natural patina over time.
Details include unwaxed cotton laces, a double-stitched toe cap and a leather heel tab pulled from Dr Martens' archive, set on a smoked air-cushioned sole with Goodyear welt stitching. Handcrafted at Dr Martens' Made in England factory in Northamptonshire.
Fit Notes
Sized in UK sizing. Generally true to size, but the 1461 can run slightly large, size down half a size if between sizes.

Chrome-free grained oiled leather from C.F. Stead, a Leeds-based tannery. Matte finish with a softened hand feel, designed to develop a natural patina and age with wear over time.
